The primary initiative in launching UNESCO Chair on E-Learning and Education was started in 2015, by the host institute, Mehralborz Higher Education Institute (MAHEI). This chair was officially founded on January 13, 2018 in a ceremony in the presence of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO’s Secretary General.
